Driver's Ed

Okay, here's the situation. I've already taken Driver's Ed, I've gotten probably close to if not past 24 hours of driving time (I need a total of forty) and I have my own car. My dad has been saying for the past three or four months that he's not going to lie about my hours.

Yesterday we go out driving in the morning since it was Columbus day and I had the day off (woo-hoo! ) and so did he. I stalled twice (my car's a stick) when doing the three-point turn and then I couldn't parallel park. Basically at that point (the parallel park) I started crying and dad started yelling.

The thing is, he is now willing to lie about my Driving Record and say that I got all of my hours. All I have to do is pass my test... who agrees with me that my dad has suddenly gone psychotic? Or, for those of you who know me, has finally been taken back to our home planet and had his human counterpart replaced on this earth?

Thanks in advance for the advice... man I wish I could just jump into the Firefly 'verse and get a pilot's license, then I would seriously be able to disappear!
