...The Hunger Games trilogy. OK but for some reason I can't stop reading. If you don't know it you might like to check them out. It takes place in a society run by an evil pseudo-empire that demands supplies and that the "Districts" give them two sacrifices per year for the eponymous Hunger Games as punishment for a rebellion decades earlier. Not dissimilar to the Alliance/Independants struggle in FF universe but in a different setting (post-apocalyptic US).Me done.
