Two Worlds...your choice

Was on a website a few minutes ago, and though I've seen much like this in the past week, I had to share this time. The contrast was too ironic and too strong.

Imagine this , John Lennon, it's "easy if you try". "Living for the moment" can do that to you:



An online sidebar ad that has on one half...

a plea to sponsor a starving African child.


Then immediately following...

an offer for a first credit card with whatever amount pre-paid.


Contrast:

The young orphan has haunted eyes, staring you down with an ambivalent expression, a barricade of beads weighing down her thin shoulders.

With:

The teen has a flawless small grin and flaunting skin that frankly, I am jealous of. She's looking off to the side, presumably at whatever is making her so happy, but it's the card pressed in your face.


Both ask you to put yourself into their shoes.
