Our Anniversary

I know it's a few days away ( it's OCtober 31st) but I just felt like saying thisWhat I am getting for my anniversary
Much as I love shiny presents I already got the best gift I could ever have gotten for my anniversary. I got a husband who is kind, loving, and the best man I could ever have asked for. I got a man who throughout 9 long months of pregnancy has never once gotten irritated, impatient, or frustrated with the myriad of demands placed on him. I got a husband who has been to every one of my appointments even if we talk about ooky stuff he'd rather not know. I have a man who has gotten up every single day even when he could have slept in to make my breakfast and, when I was working, pack my lunch and kiss me good bye. I have a husband who has done laundry, cleaned, done dishes, cooked, and gone grocery shopping without being asked. I got a husband who has rubbed my back, held me when I cried, soothed me when I was frightened, held my hand and supported me every minute of every day. I have a husband who has loved and supported me no matter what has gone on and who, through every second including the last weeks when I am puffy, blotchy, tired, and the size of a minivan has made me feel beautiful.
So earrings are nice, but I like my gift a whole lot more. One day of gifts is nice, but 365 days of feeling like the most cherished woman in the world is so so so much better
