A Broken Heart and A Near Miss

Well, yesterday kind of sucked....my ball python (which I had had for about twelve years) died and I had a royal cry before drinking way too much coffee and proceeding to stay up late watching CSI. About eleven thirty, I was rudely interrupted when a tornado(yes, Virginia, they do exist!) touched down right next to my house. Thankfully, (GOD was there with his hand) it was not very big(only 110mph winds) and we suffered very little damamge. The big thing and the reason I say God was protecting us was there were NO sirens and I live in a two story townhouse. My kids and hubby were UPSTAIRS asleep and I would have had NO time to get them down. So, good news, we are all alive, well, except the snake and I will be working on the next chapter of Angelle. Just thought I would share.
