My sacrifice for the cause...

OK... Been a LONG while since I posted. Married life takes a LOT of time. But on to the topic...

I was at Target a few days back and I always check to see how much Firefly is going for. Usually it's $24.95, sometimes $39.99. So there it sits, only one left... for a mere $17.99.

So I pick it up and then I stop. Am I just being selfish cuz I don't have the boxset cuz I gave my set to my stepson? I mean, I DO have every ep downloaded on my PC -- some eps with Spanish subtitles even. So it's not like I can't watch it anytime I want.

But then I thought: this is the last boxset -- if I take it, what if there's someone out there who's never seen Firefly and that $17.99 pricetag might be the thing that gets a newbie convert to the 'Verse cuz they'll plunk down $18 in cashy money rather than the usual $40.

So there you have it. My sacrifice for the cause was NOT buying the holiest of holies in our 'Verse. May that boxset find a good home in the heart of a potential Browncoat. Amen.
