Rebirth.

This is just a wee fic update..

For those who read my Resurgence series, it's still ongoing. I'll get back to writing the fourth chapter one day. Thankfully, the muse hasn't completely fell on its a**, and I'm still inspired. There's all manner of unpleasant and emotional stuff that I still need to write.

But, I've decided to shift my focus to something special in the meantime. In the true 'horror movie remake' style, I've decided to rewrite the Schism series. The first piece of fic that kickstarted my whole writing bug.

It's been four years since I wrote that crazy story. So, I thought that it would be fun to rewrite it for a new audience, and make a 'director's cut' for myself, as it were. :)

This won't be a simple, lazy rewrite. There's going to be a narrative overhaul. The updated chapters will be fleshed out, and the plot will be presented in a more linear fashion. (As opposed to my surreal, Tarantinoesque, pinball machine style of storytelling back in the day.) My understanding of the characters has deepened, so I might change and add to existing dialogue too.

I've been having a riot dealing with chapter one in a different light so far, and hope to have that uploaded soon.
