I'm not quite dead...

OK, so I'm reading very slowly; blame my friends. I will attempt to push forward this weekend and try and finish the book and then start some rough character sketches...then start On Killing .On the plus side, I'm still spreading the gospel of Firefly to the masses. My latest (hopefully) convert is an exchange student from Korea. We've been friends for a while and were both bored today so we decided to watch a movie. Me being the kind of guy I am only had the Godfather collection, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, a few John Wayne movies, and of course Firefly and Serenity. Well, low and behold she picked out the box set of Firefly and asked me what that was about; so we watched the pilot today and she did have a bit of trouble following the opening part, but got it with my help and says she really enjoyed it.
I just got an email thanking me, and without going into too many private details*

*edit: Spelling/grammatical errors are hers, but give her a break, how many languages do you speak/write?
