Being River Tam

Just a random thought I had today. River has her good days and her not so good days. She can offer up creepifying facts and segue off into comments on quantem physics. Other days..she can barely get out of bed. I'm thinking .. " hey, don't we ALL go through various stages of lucidity and cloudyness ? " Anyone ? Eh, ok, so it's not to the severe extent that River has,but then we didn't have our brains cut on multiple times by secret Gov't scientist. But the point is, River is someone I think many can relate to, even if they aren't so willing to fess up to it. We, like River, do a balancing act... one moment..we are getting sick in our brothers bed, the next..well, there's no power in the 'verse that can stop us.


If I find myself not having the best of days...I can just think of River, and some how work out a smile.

Just another, but totally unrelated thought on River. She's the only crew member to NOT be shot. Ain't that somethin? I hope it stays that way with Serenity .

***Correction*** Inara hasn't been shot either. How could I forget HER! But my comment still stands, and I hope Inara AND River both stay clear from being shot or hurt in Serenity .
