A shiney new door has opened

Yes indeed a new door has opened. Opportunity knocked and I responded.

I just finished a Creative writing course at my local college and a follow up workshop.

Now, bear in mind, I have always described myself as a hack, a Jack-of-all-trades, able to do whatever I put my mind to, but never well enough to say "That's what I do best." I took this course as a direct result of this site, so thank-you all for literally pushing me in the right direction. Especially thanks to SoulofSerenity, Needy, CallmeSerenity, WSYB, TheRealMe, CastIronJack... the list goes on, who encouraged me.

I now stand at the doorway of a career in writing and I'm not sure which direction I should take. My teacher told me "You can write anything, and write it brilliantly".

I'm not good at accepting compliments, probably because I don't feel I deserve them, but I am starting to learn.

So thank-you again. Those words seem small to me, I hope they aren't to you.
