Five Years Ago

Hi there,

It's been five years since my last ear operation and too be honest not much has changed. My ear still gets infected easily and i still have to go to the outpatients department at Dryburn to get my ear cleaned.

The only real difference is i have an extra scar which hurts on occasion and i keep getting a stiff neck.

The operation was to clean out my ear, so the consultant drilled a hole in my skull to get to the cavity. Then she took some muscle out of my neck to fill said cavity to stop it clogging up again.
