To my overwhelmingly generous friends

I want to profoundly thank everyone who was so wonderful and generous and sweet and sent me money to get to Australia. It was the most amazing thing that’s ever been done for me. In a month I got about $450 and it was... really an incredible response.

I will not be going.

Anyone who wants what they gave back, I will return your money. Anyone else, I thank you again and will use the funds for my trip to Houston in two weeks, or on DragonCon bills; either mine or Magda’s, whatever would be preferred.
I’m sorry. It’s not what I wanted. It really isn't.
Thank you, all, for being so wonderful.
