political comment or carring statement?

Recently I left Local firefly board because they had a no politic statements, someone started talking about Matt Maupin and said something about how wonderful it is to see the commuinty supporting him and they hope he's alright. I fail to see how this voilates policy. I don't believe we should have been chewed out for agreeing either. No one said anything about the war one way or another. What I've been wondering is how is hoping someone in the commuinty (you both live in and support) is okay political?COMMENTS: 3
