You WILL love Firefly

So now I'm showing my new boy Firefly. Slowly as he won't watch it without me. Ummm it's a bit unnearving that of all the people I've shown this wonders of the 'verse he's the only one not to immediatly fall in love with it. Can a Browncoat and a casual viewer be in a successfull relationship for long?
