Good day and Doctor Who

Hi there,

I was in Durham today. I had to pick up a copy of English Journey for my dissertation and then I decided to go up to the Cathedral because my friend Andrew was on.

Firstly, I decided to do the children's quizzes. Then I went to the audio-visual exhibition. Then I thought it would be a good idea to go up the tower. I got to go up for free because I'm a steward. Although I forgot how much I hate narrow winding staircases. The view from the top is excellent but it isn't half knackering. And on the way down I was talking to two kids about Doctor Who.

Speaking of which, the new series started tonight (see what I did there? Talk about great linkage of paragraphs). Anyway, I like the new companion. She's different from Rose which is a good thing.
