another soundtrack to my life

Sunday, March 25, 2007 8:14 AM

This was done from i tunes so i don't know what some of these sound like. so i'm going to listen to them and add a commentary

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing and the Band
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...

Opening Credits: Ready an' willing- whitesnake (good rocking intro)

Waking Up: the journey- small faces (weird. not sure it's appropriate for waking up though)

First Day At School: cheerio- Jethro tull (the title maybe but not the lyrics)

Falling In Love: i'll get you- the beatles (yeah i could see that)

Fight Song: my wife- the who (not that appropriate since it's about running away. I suppose that would be appropriate for me since I would run from a fight)

Breaking Up: i'm losing you- john lennon (that fits.)

Prom: won't get fooled again- the who (what's going to happen at this prom?)

Life: fire and water- free (not gonna be a good life, everyy single day i got a heartache coming my way)

Holiday: welcome to the jungle- guns n roses (ok i'll have that)

Mental Breakdown: carpet crawlers- genesis (could be construed as going mad. the last one i did this was for the birth of a child)

Driving: we've arrived- the rutles (not really)

Flashback: i'm free- the who (i'd like that for my flashback)

Getting Back Together: the magic of time- genesis (nice song doesn't really fit though.)

Wedding: no time to lose- lindisfarne (maybe if i were eloping)

Birth of Child: my mummy's dead- john lennon (ooh err... that doesn't sound good)

Final Battle: ride on- AC/DC (of all the ac/dc songs i could've had i had to get the slow one for the final battle)

Death Scene: oh darling- the beatles (lol)

Funeral Song:born under a bad sign- cream (if it wasn't for bad luck i wouldn't have no luck at all, and since it's my funeral that would mean bad luck of some kind)

End Credits: my generation- the who (great end)
