I've Reached The Middle

I've decided that at some point in life, there is a place where you reach the middle. I've realized that I've reached the middle. I have my two kids. I'm married and have 5 cats. I've bought a house, a car and have worked at the same job for almost 10 years.

This is the middle. I just know it. So when people ask me what I've been up to.....Well I don't really have anything that interesting to tell them. It seems that winter this year has brought the blahs and the middle.

Not that I'm complaining at the lack of excitement. I've just realized that I'm in the middle of my life. Sure things will pick up soon and there will be t-ball games and summer camps to take the kids to, but right now I'm just being me.

So the middle isn't so bad. It just needs a pick me up now and then.
