Nurses

So yeah, the Oklahoma Blood donor people came to my base today. I always give blood since I'm a universal donor. (Means everybody can recieve my blood, but I can only get my type. O neg) As a little background info, my veins are extremely hard to find. After they poked my finger to test my iron (perfect ~_^) They take me over to the chair to draw my blood. They sit my down and look at my left arm. They can't see any veins so they put a strap on my upper arm to force the veins to pop out. Nothing to see. They felt around my arm and thought they found one, but it had a pulse (It was an Artery, they can't use those) They switch to my right arm. They think they found another one. So they poke me... Nothing came out. They twisted and moved it around for a while. For those of you that have never given blood. Moving that needle when it's in you HURTS! They figured that nothing was going to come out of that arm so they went back to the Artery side. They decided that the artery could be under the vein... it was a risk they were willing to take. Long story short, shorter than it could be I should say. I have/had 2 colored bandages on both of my arms. I'm woozy from the loss of blood and I can't lift my arms above my head. And with that last note of interest, I am going to bed. I'll post how I feel in the morning/after work tomorrow. Have a goodnight and sweetdreams to you all.
