Of course I had to see the movie - didn't even know a series ever existed. But after seeing the trailors on TV, the movie was an obvious must see. There wasn't an aspect about it that wasn't impressive, from the graphics, to the characters - and - GOOD GRIEF! - what a story?!?! -- I had to own it as soon as it came out on DVD -- then my husband hit me with the astounding news that there had been a series and we could get the ENTIRE THING on DVD!!! Yup, I've worn them out. :) I don't know what planet I was inhabiting at the time to NOT know about the series, but I didn't. And come to find out, other passionate scifi people I know also were likewise ignorant.
How on earth could it not be a HUGE hit?! I hope somehow it can come back.
