*pats self down* I...survived? I survived! The Boyfriend's mother didn't make me into lamb chops after all! I've been spared!

Dinner with The Boyfriend's parents wasn't so bad. A mutual best friend (who also happens to be his ex and my cousin. It's a funny story actually...) and her boyfriend were there, as were three of The Boyfriend's friends. So she didn't have a chance to cook me. *cheers*

Here is me thanking you muchly for the helpful advice and encouraging-type words: THANK YOU!!! *throws arms out in hugging gesture* They really did work.
