Oh, boy.. I still can't believe I'm going to this thing. And although I'm excited I'm also nervous.
Hope this country mouse isn't too out of place in the big city.
I am so excited about seeing my daughter though, who lives there in CA and so excited about meeting all of my BDFriends that I've met here at FFF.net and at the Serenity Browncoat Board! This is the most important part to me, after meeting Nathan Fillion of course. Sorry guys.. meeting Nathan Fillion is unabashedly my most favorite thing about this! Who's next? Why, Ron Glass of course. And Greg Edmondson too! I love to hear Ron laugh and he's an exceptionally interesting person. Then there is the addition of Greg Edmondson.. I have wanted to tell him that his music moved me since I heard the part where Simon tells the crew about River after she emerges from the box...each time I hear that music in the background .. I cry. I want to tell him that.
Actually, I'll be excited to meet everyone! I'm very happy for all of us that Flan is going ahead.
And did I tell you that I hate to fly? I loathe flying... this is the only thing besides family that would get me on an airplane. *Sigh*
I hope to have access to a computer in the days right after Flan when my memory is still sharp and capable of details. And I plan to take notes as things occur. I'll do my best to present Flan as I see it. Then I'm gonna rush and read DonCoat's and MalNourished's con reports.. cuz they're the best! I promise to do links!
I have a cocktail outfit, *snort*... me in a cocktail outfit. Whee!
