Do sore thumbs really stick out?

Well, my semester checklist of final things to do is about halfway done. All the english majors are supposed to go to some party on the sixteenth, but right now its a dim and blurry light at the end of long dark tunnel.

I keep reminding myself of that scene in Real Genius, during one of the video montages, when one of the students gets up from a table buried in books, starts screaming at no one in particular, screaming "Ahh" over and over again, till he walks out the door. It makes me laugh every time.

"I believe it was Socrates who said, 'I drank what.?'"
