Post-Thanksgiving and the Independent Army

Thanksgiving was a wonderful experience this year...a bit odd without a wife beside me, but it was nice to be able to host my family at my house. We of course ate way too much and ended up in a food coma, but it was worth it!

I realized again how thankful I was that I was introduced to Firefly, and that I found this site. Time for the sappy part...I love my Browncoat family, and I am very thankful for each and every one of you! You have made life a brighter place!

Now to the Independent Army stuff. This was an idea I had been tossing around, and when finally prodded into making a post, I was quite pleased with the results! Apparently, I am not the only one interested in this concept. For those that don't know, this is what I mean:

This is basically the creation of an army of Independents to march in the DragonCon parade next year...we're working on figuring out the costumes, weapons, accesories, etc. We are not marching under a separate banner, but marching alongside the rest of our family! If you are going to D*C, and are interested, drop by and see us!

That's about it for now...life is still good, I have plenty of costume orders and will continue developing new things as time goes by. I want to also thank everyone who has bought something from me!
