Hey everyone. I'm new to the Firefly community. I have just recently watched and bought both the BDM, and the series. I've never joined an online community before, either. I watched the BDM and series, and it just moved me...I can't really explain it, there is something about this art that is beyond description.

Anyways, now that I have that out of the way, I have to say while I have never joined a commuinty before, I have read MANY MANY forums, and i have NEVER encountered a community that as a whole is so polite, and encouraging. I am reapeatedly shocked and surprised at the quality of your average browncoat as a...blogger? poster? What's the word I should be using. Anyways. I just had to say that. Thanks for having me.
