Dr. Jerry Pournelle's Firefly Thread - Convention Report

I assumed SOMEONE out there read Jerry Pournelle's Chaos Manor site, and would note that he was a guest at the convention which Jewel Staite attended a couple weeks back. Having seen nothing, I was forced to delurk and do it myself.

Dr. Pournelle has a photo or two, seemed to like Ms. Staite, but was mostly ignorant of Firefly. That's a shame really, as Chaos Manor readers are generally educated, sophisticated folks that are likely to appreciate Firefly, and Jerry Pournelle is a fine SF author. It shows how poorly Fox publicized the show (Surprise!)...

Yes, he has the DVDs now.

Has Jewel lost a bit of weight? She seemed pretty buff, but then getting rid of the baggy overalls would help anyone look better .
