What has happened to MTV

I remember the first broadcast of MTV. The gang of friends that I hung with all met in the bottom floor family room of one of our friends and we lay there transfxed as we learned that Video killed the Radio Star, that Bow Wow Wow wanted Candy and heard Adam Ant order us to Stand and Deliver.

The videos were raw and rather cheesey, but it was exciting none the less.

I watched the VMA's last night with #2.

MTV is boring. Its trite, it is as Rock and Roll as the Church Bingo league of old blue haired ladies.

I miss my MTV.
