Here I am, stuck in the middle with....well, nothing.

So. The "In The Ether" plot bunny has escaped, dug under the fence, and is now cruising down the highway at top speed. I don't think he's coming back. I've tried working the next chapter quite literally 24 times (I counted, I saved each attempt at starting).

Would anyone object mightily if I just prentended it didn't happen and go think of something else?

Of course, some part of my brain asks: will anyone actually read this, or am I just sending bits into the void? How does this blog thing work, anyway? And since no one can comment here, what exactly am I hoping for by way of a response?

What is the air speed of an unladen swallow?
