"Guests" in chat room....

Guests on chat site....Just tried the chat room, and enjoyed talking to some really great people. Then, some "Guests" came aboard, and dissed me & the guy I was talking to...for no apparent reason. Pretty tacky lingo...
Ouch.
Does this kind of thing happen a lot? I'm sure there are good guests, but the bad ones sure ruin an innocent source of fun.
