HTML allows cool tricks like this and like that that ---> ... but why can't it include sound effects? This blog starts with a gigantic farting noise. Ahh.

I am a geek without a home. Somehow my dad, who is not at all athletic, got me into sports, so now I can name all 117 Division I-A NCAA College Football Teams, and obscure trivia and factoids re: the Houston Astros ca. 1980-present.

I also know way too much about cinema-- and not just the movies... I can rattle off directors, screenwriters and cinematographers, and I'm just now starting to remember costumers and set designers. I knew David Boyd DP'd Firefly before I even bought the DVD's.

I'm not saying I need help. I'm just looking for a good support group. Because the mountain of knowledge my brain seems to retain, is wobbling over toward U.S. Foreign Policy, and that cr*p just makes me want to stab somebody.
