Hey, Question.....Any Takers.

Odd question for all u buffs out there. Being an Aviator myself and watching Wash shutdown Serenity on some dirtball somewhere, (not sure which episode sparked this thought)the engines get rotated back to inflight positions. This don't make sense to me at all.. It leaves the vessel in a "not ready for take-off" condition. Why not leave them in the vertical position??
