Concept "art"

I posted some of the concept art from Pot23C, and it came out bad. At the moment, my scanner hates me and is not working, and my digital camera is a piece of go se. As a reult, the images are not very pretty to look at. Half because of the fuzziness, and half because of my lack of, uhm, artistic ability. I'll just say that they look a whole lot better when they're not all blurry and crap. Also, what I've posted have both gotten 1 ratings. I don't care if you hate it, people, just tell me WHY you hate it so I can fix it. Constructive criticism is good criticism.
