Omigawd!!I was just checkiong the homepage of on of my favorite authors, Merecedes Lackey, and guess what I say!
The first thing on the page is a huge fan add for Firefly/Serenity! Turns out she's a fan. Check it out here

True it's from when the movie was in theaters but I like that it's still up.
She's a fairly big name in the world of SF/Fantasy writers. Not huge but known. She has written a large amount of books that appeal to a number of audienced and some of the are even bestsellers.
Fans like that have to be a good thing.
