My first week here more or less

And I've begun maybe to make a few friends. Seem to have made an enemy as well. I supose it evens out. I'm not quite sure exactly when I in his cornflakes but we seem to have agreed to ignore each other so no harm I suppose.

As to new friends may I thank everybody else for the warm welcome, stimulating discusion, and making me feel stupid at hangman. FollowMal you don't seem to have gotten around to issuing me my regulation browncoat - but I see you've been a bit busy lately and I did kind of just jump in without introducing myself and acted like I'd been here all along so no worries. The coat I'm wearing is a kind of brownish color so it'll do untill you're heading that direction.

Firefly. Wow. It's like somebody opened up my brain, mapped all of the synaptic connections, and produced a television show aimed specifically at me. Everlasting gratitude for enriching my life goes out to all involved in this project from Joss all the way down to the ladies staffing the catering trailer. (Yes even FOX strange to say, without them I wouldn't have gotten even 14 episodes)

So my first Blog, something sad, something glad, something obvious.

Weather in daveland: really freaking cold.
