Rel, the man they call Rel

He's been to Hyde Park
And he's been to MK
To see all his friends
And to wish them good day
Our love for him now
Is hard to dispell
The God of Trillian
The man they call Rel

Our Rel saw the dealers' wares shinin'
He saw the dealers' big swords
And he saw there Anduril hangin'
So with the dealers he exchanged words
So he said "how much for that one up there?"
They said "Oooh, it's quite a bit"
But Rel swallowed hard
And pulled out his card
At his home now that sword does sit

Essential for playing frisball -
He owns the TFL frisbee
Frisball can be a strange game
Maybe even frightnin' to see
Our love for him now
Is hard to dispell
The God of Trillian
The man they call Rel

Now here is what separates true fans
From common folk like you and I
The man they call Rel
He got on the bell
To meet the stars of Firefly
He's met up with Summer Glau
He's met up with Jewel Staite
The man they called Rel
Would go right through hell
For Serenity is his true fate

He wore a black coat
But his coat now is brown
From Tormented Space
He's moved to Jaynestown
He often says "shiny"
Though he used to say "frell"
The God of Trillian
The man they call Rel
