i hate being gulible. its so very useless. rant on said subject as follows
so, the other day i'm looking around ebay and i see "signed firefly script" going for $20 w/ an hour left. so i figure of course it'll go way up at the last minute, but what the hell, might as well bid. i left, and then came back with just a minute left, and it was only up to 27, so i figure, ok, i'll bid again, i won't get it. so i did, and i DID get it. seemed a mite odd, and, looking back, utterly unrealistic, all those sig's goinf for $30, but of course i wasnt focusing on that cause i was friggin thrilled. later, of course, i bother to go over the description more carefully, and realise its a gorram photocopy! grr! i was somewhat less then amused. it was very cleverly done; it said somthing like "copy of signed firefly script" so of course it could be taken either way, and i of course took it the wrong way. dunno if it was done like that intentionally to decieve or not, but it certainly worked on me. (as previously mentioned, im not exactly the quickest). i did get out of buying it, but even so, i was pissed. all the more so because i didn't realize my mistake until AFTER i started rubbing it in the faces of my browncoat friends. ahh well.
