Towards a brilliant Water Taxi

Why doth the raven sing? Why doth the Scarsdale celebrity dance-a-thon
End without ceremony?
As if it were just a monkey's bar mitzvah?
If it were now, rather than then (or later?)
Would you have stopped washing my car?
How many times must I challenge you with the words
"Halt, who goes there?"
How many worlds must cease
Before terrifying pilgrimages of seagulls alight
Upon my balcony and sing out to the Gods:
Show me a rose! Show me the rose of York!
Lo! For though the squirrels of discontent re-imagine my bedroom community
The unknown quantity of life is its own penalty!
Ha! I laugh at those who would live in Studio City
For without us you are but naked and blind,
And shuffle endlessly toward Broadway Pier
Without end...
Without end...
Without end...to the water taxi.
