...it's called Steam. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, you know true happiness; but just so you know, Steam is a bug-ridden program that plagues online gamers.
Any other gamers out there hate this thing as much as I?
Want to know why I hate it?

My Adventures with Steam:
1) Installation problems. Had to get a diffrent copy of install file.
2) Kept freezing after trying to update. Had to reinstall to fix.
3) After creating an account, I was repeatedly unable to login. Had to reinstall to fix.
4) When trying to install Day of Defeat, it kept saying my CD-key is invalid, even though I posess a valid legal key.
5) After repeatedly trying to install DoD. It had finally 'claimed' to do so. It even said it was updating DoD. However, when I try to play, it asks for my CD-key and goes back throught the install process.
6) Still refuses to work.

sounds like quality software to me...
