unexpected convert

Well, I've had the dvd's for a month now, and well, was starting to despair of ever having anyone to discuss or watch them with since my taste in tv tends to differ from all of my friends. Surprisingly, my ex agreed to watch the first episode and is hooked. He never saw it when it was on fox because he really doesn't watch anything other than cnbc and anime on cartoon network. Of course, I probably wasn't helping by describing the show as Cowboy Bebop meets Magnificent Seven. Of course, I know the entire reason he fell in love with it is because he wishes he could throw some of his coworkers through an engine like mal did on the train job.

Anyway, I'm now assured of one movie buddy at least come 2005.
