A friend of mine that I haven't seen for about a year is in town visiting this week. He'd never seen Firefly before, just heard about it from the emails I send him.

He comes over last night for a get together and sees my boxed set on the shelf. He asks me if this is what I've been talking about.

"Yeah, that's it. Wanna watch some."

"Sure."

7 minutes and 45 seconds into it, he's putting on his brown coat and talking about picking up the set before he goes home. He's also really looking forward to the movie.

The entire time we were watching it, he kept uttering: "And Fox cancelled this show? I can't understand it."
