First Blong Entry

Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself you y'all fine folk. I'm Arcadia, from Illinois. I didn't discover firelfy until a few months ago when I decided to buy it on a whim and I'm so glad I did! It's my favorite scifi show of all time -- easily surpassing ST:V and Startgate. The characters are just so real, their situation so compelling.... damn, I love this show. And I'm really starting to love this site, too! Thanks to every who makes the images, I've had a blast looking at them all.

A little bit about me, since this is the "getting to know you" blong: I am nineteen years old, majoring in English and Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois -- though right now I am seriously considering transferring to Columbia College in Chicago and majoring in TV and Fiction (how awesome is it when a school has a major that's just called "fiction"?). I have a hermit crab named Oz. I used to have two, but my beloeved Lenny died on tuesday . It was quite sad. I like to write, thought I haven't been as dedicated as I should be as of late. I really like Scifi, which means I'm a big hit with the nerd community... which I like because nerds are fun! Anyway, I have to write a response paper for a class I have in about an hour, so I am going to run, run away. Bye!
