Jesse ... don't call Stern

You know, as much as I love Firefly, I get really aggravated with everyone constantly talking about how great it is, how "shiny" it is, and how genius it is. I don't necessarily disagree, but if we are going to talk about how good a show is, I think it's best to point out a lot of the negatives.

I bought the commentary book "Finding Serenity" and from what I've read so far there are a few fascinating rebuttals, but for the most part everyone chalks Firefly up to the television equivalent of the Bible.

Does anyone out there know of any commentary that completely blasts the show? I have found a few reviews of the movie, but they were by people who hadn't really watched the show and there arguments seemed moot to me. It would be a great relief to find someone who sees all its flaws without trying to maintain its glory. (But let me reiterate -- I very much like the show).
