My 20th birthday is today.

Hello, all. I just wanted to let everyone here know that today is my 20th birthday. As of now, I am no longer a teenager. I suppose I could be considered a young adult for real, and not euphemistically.

Strange. It doesn't feel like anything's changed for me. Today I slept in, I'm going to watch some library DVD's, go to Craven for work (I'm the locations department for this short movie I'm working on for free. Basically, I'm putting up and taking down signs and sitting in my car at the bottom of the hil, flagging down people and telling them there's a movie shooting up at the top and that they should honk and go slowly in order for them to get out of the way), go to a wedding rehearsal at 6:30 and then come back here, hopefully to chat with KaySky whom I havn't talked to in months and that's it.

My folks gave me two 400 dollar checks. One for my tuition, and one so that I can buy an iPod mini, which aside from a stack of TVD's, was the main thing I wanted for b-day. But because on the 7th, I have to show up at court and possibly pay a fine (it's a really long story I don't want to get into), as well as my tuition, I think I need to put any big, lavish shopping spree's on hold.

Every year my birthdays get more nondescript than the last. And even though they're cheesy as Hell, I'd love to get like a surprise party. I imagine Keanu Reeves and Salma Hayek (who share my b-days with me) are having more lavish days than me. But I honestly don't care.

All I really ask is for a few bridal checks to come in, maybe a b-day check from a relative that's more than $25, not too strenuous of a shooting day and some long overdue face shots from some people I met online.

Wish me a happy b-day please. Let's hope the crappy compression coil doesn't snap on me and we all have to abandon ship to keep from freezing/suffocationg.
