SO, my best-ist friend in all the world, Crusty (a Big Damn Wuss) has had the Firefly box set sitting on his shelf since January … Every week or so I ask him if he’s watched it and he say “noooo” (in a kinda winy way) and follows it up with some stupid excuse like “I’m working through Farscape”…

So we had a wedding to go to at the weekend which I was slightly nervous about (my ex with whom I lived for 5 years was the groom (hey, I dumped HIM ‘cos of the whole, looking like a pig in a wig thing! Me, shallow?)) Crusty came round to stay the night before and since he had nowhere to go (the TV’s in my bedroom) I forced him to watch the pilot…

We went to the wedding (which wasn’t as bad as I’d feared – ex has now become pretty much all Weeble – for those that don’t know, this is pretty much EXACTLY what he now looks like: ), visited some nice standing stones on the way home at Stanton Drew and Crusty went home.

I heard nothing further from him until yesterday, when I got the following four-word text message:

“A VERY SPECIAL HELL”

All I can say is – ha, another convert – who knew it could be so easy???
