Not even 24 hours...

Yup, it didn't take long.

In my last blog, I was wondering how long I could stand not owning the series on DVD. I had the Thursday night screening to look forward to until, well, Thursday night. By Friday afternoon, I had the DVDs in my hot little hands. And I am ashamed to confess that I did not order from Amazon through the link on 3f.net. I'm sorry, but I just couldn't wait that long. I bought them at the local Barnes and Noble.

I really don't act this way in real life. I rarely make impulse purchases. I _never_ buy DVDs for myself. Why should I, when we pay every month for a Netflix membership? When "Reduce the clutter, Travel light" is my general mantra in life? When my unwritten dissertation makes me feel guilty about watching movies the first time, let alone multiple viewings?

But, as my 15yo and I have taken to saying, this doesn't mean I'm obsessed like SOME people.

Oh, and the evening after I bought the DVDs, I had my first Firefly viewing party. But that doesn't mean I'm obsessed. I mean, not like SOME people. Really.
