I know that just about all of you have dozens in each episode but here's my favorite...OUT of GAS
The whole sequence when Mal is left alone on Serenity after he sends everyone off on the shuttles...The music, his matter-of-fact approach to closing all the doors behind him, getting situated in the chair with the blanket, it's just hypnotic
Also, just before that when they realize that he is staying...the looks on their faces
