I'm dying for a Jayne hat

I keep complaining that I don't own a cunning Jayne hat and would love to make one. I can't knit though, so I just annoy people. My sister even offered to knit me one if I could find her instructions on how to do it.

In the mean time, she recently just got back from a trip to London and bought my a wanna-be Jayne hat. It has earflaps and is vaguely orange, but it's just not the same. Not to mention it got really warm here and I can't even wear the hat.

But now I've found a couple of places that have instructions and/or sell Jayne hats. This place (http://www.liquidfractal.com/) was mentioned at the Canadian Browncoat Yahoo! group. Funny I ran into it while my sister was still in London. I was thinking about a Janye hat and she buys me one...

So should I force my sister to make me a cunning Jayne hat so I can wear it to Serenity or should I just wear the wanna-be and quit my complaining?
