A blog like any other blog still sounds like... blog?

First blog, and well, we all have to start somewhere. Caveat: pardon the gushing inanity; while the cat's away the mouse will just run around with it's little optical head gone crazy. And then the cat will come back, and her pretty shiny black paws will dance over the keyboard and make *much* more sense.

Guilty pleasure of the week -- quoting my husband: "Oh, you just couldn't help yourself, you finally broke down huh?," with a silly, half-serious comic scowl (he's me own Wash guy) -- I finally bought the Firefly DVD set. Yah sure, you think "*Finally*? What kind of a flan are you anyway?" And uh huh, well I'm a broke fan. But never fear, I've been swilling my own specially contrived/concocted/conflagulatory? combination of coffee, pretzels, and wine to stay up late and enjoy them in perfect ecstasy (oh gods no, not all *together*! What kind of a freak do you think I am?). That sounds perfectly horrible, one does not swill pretzels.
Guilty pleasure part deux: though they are both fans as well and fellow geeks, husband is working tonight and son is having a sleep over with a friend so I get the virgin viewing of our dvd's to myself. Ok, now that does sound perfectly horrible. Wickedly selfish? Mildly indulgent?
Hey, if you could hang around with sexy people on horseback in space, wouldn't you too?
