So after three and a half years I think I finally convinced the Navy to give that that handy dandy laser surgery (PRK... the old laser surgery) and it turns out I have to wear my glasses for three weeks. This wouldn't be a problem except for my glasses are government issue. That wouldn't be a problem if I actually worked at a govenment insallation right now. Nope, I have to go to school with my govenment glasses and govenment haircut (i.e. cheap... six dollars and it looks like it cost five) and have all the other students, and my professors, give me funny looks all day. Maybe none of this would be a problem if I didn't have a funny shaped head.
