New for MTV: Pimp My Hoe!

Okay, so I'm teaching The Color Purple to my Juniors and yesterday we come across a part in the book where Celie is out in the garden and then her husband comes out, picks up a hoe, works in the garden a tiny bit, then drops the hoe.

Of course, any time a teenager hears about the garden tool, he or she thinks about the harlot of the same name! :) So we're all laughing about this and then someone suggested having a cable access garden show done by some "G"s called "Pimps and Hoes". More laughter.

So then that evolved the next period into a new MTV gardening series called "Pimp My Hoe" where famous celebrities get their gardening tools tricked out! ;)

God, I love teaching.
