XBox Live. Why did I wait so long ?

Ok, I can't answer that, but I'll say that I am now 'connected' and it's a blast! Started out in HALO2, and have quickly displayed my novice status. Gets frustrating when you get killed by a group of 12 yr olds, but that's the nature of the game....die and learn.

As for my Gametag, it took me a while to find one I felt comfortable with. I wanted it to be original, I wanted it to be fun, and I didn't want to be 'number'... such as StormTrooper145. Initially, I was going to go w/ a Tolkien themed name, but I didn't want to make it TOO obvious. So, after some some rejected names, I changed my tactic. I then decided something Firefly-ish would work. Something obscure enough to the general XBox public, but still cool sounding... I ran through a quick list... Captain Mal, Hands of blue, Firefly, Jayne Cobb, Serenity... even Black Market Beagle. All workable names, but still...

And then it hit me... HEROofCANTON . Frankly, I was surprised that name wasn't already taken, so I grabbed it. I've only had XBox Live a couple of days, but it seems every time somone feels the need to say hi to 'Hero' prior to the game starting. No one's asked me about Firefly yet, but who knows?
